Duties and Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize voice of the customer into the product backlog. Understand the competitive landscape for the product and help suggest/stimulate/ drive innovation.
-Own the product backlog list. Define user stories and prioritize backlog while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features for the team.
-Prioritize work based on project needs, task dependencies, team capacities and schedules.
-Conduct impact analysis as requirements emerge, communicate progress and concerns amongst product/project stakeholders to accomplish organization objectives.
-Partner with technical experts to build great products leveraging tools and technologies.
-Design and Code review (micro services, ecommerce features) with engineers on agile team to ensure Product is robust.
-Understanding the impact for services/functional changes across the platform.
-A subject matter expert and technical point of contact for a product line and associated services for Customer Care, Technical Training, and Marketing.
-Review test cases and manual/automation testing plan with QA based on OOP principles that exhibit a high level of reuse and ROI while requiring minimal maintenance.
-Collaborate closely with engineers during sprints. Clarify requirements and make timely decisions on execution details. -Attend all required Scrum meetings including: daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint review-inspect, accept or reject completed work.
-Attend Team Demo and Retrospective.
-Work across teams to define and implement improvement stories to increase velocity and quality of program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-4+ years web and ecommerce software development life cycle experience
-Knowledge of API usage, database, and user interface design
-Familiarity with web-based product development and understanding of typical technology architecture for high-volume websites.
-Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of new features as well as resolve operational issues skills is a must.
-Details-oriented, yet able to look at a wide array of choices & identify what truly matters, problem solving skills is a must
-Scope new requirements and oversee implementation working alongside with engineers of new features into the product.
-Excellent understanding of technical detail and the ability to articulate to technical and non-technical members.
-Strong analytical skills and ability to make technical decisions, recommendations, and conclusions based upon data.
-Hands-on experience in working in an agile environment, including a strong working knowledge of the methodology and iterative development.
-Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
-A true collaborator with strong written and oral communication skills
-Business acumen-you will be immersed in the lines of business. But also experience the bridge between business lines and the engineering departments
